The boys and girls in Ballyhea Pre School got a surprise visit this last week from Garda Aisling Dooley who popped in to chat about road safety.
They also got to learn the words of the Safe Cross Code which if you�re honest with yourself you still sing from time to time.
A great day for the kids and and a lesson that will stay with them for life.
Ok here we go.
REMEMBER�
ONE � look for a safe place
TWO � don�t hurry stop and wait
THREE � look all around and listen
before you cross the road, remember
FOUR � let all the traffic pass you
FIVE � then walking straight across you
