Gardai in Cork are investigating an incident where a woman sustained a stab wound
Emergency services responded to a call on Gillabbey Street at around 6am and discovered the woman had an injury to her face.
The injured party who is thought to be in her 30s was transferred to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The street has been closed off pending further investigations.
