Cork is gearing up for a five-day celebration of food, flavour and local talent as the popular Cork on a Fork Fest returns next Wednesday, August 13. Now in its fourth year, the festival is organised by Cork City Council in collaboration with local chefs, food producers, and hospitality businesses, and proudly supported by Cork Airport through its Community Fund.
Running from August 13 to 17, the event will showcase the diverse and authentic gastronomy that has earned Cork its title as the food capital of Ireland. The city will host an exciting programme of exclusive dining experiences, chef collaborations, cookery demonstrations, food trails, markets, workshops, and family-friendly events.
Cork Airport, a proud partner of the festival, is spotlighting regional food excellence through its Duty Free offering, which features many of Cork’s best-loved artisan products, such as Clonakilty black pudding, Tom Durcan’s spiced beef, Barry’s Tea, and more.
