The Crann Centre is calling on the public to take part in this year’s Walk n Roll 5K Fundraiser, a major community event supporting families living with neuro-physical disabilities across Cork and Munster.
Now celebrating its sixth year, the popular fundraising campaign aims to raise €75,000 to help the centre continue providing vital services and support to almost 900 families throughout the region.
Among those taking part is the Mangan family from Ballinhassig. Their son, Rian (10), who lives with Cerebral Palsy, has been attending services at the Crann Centre since 2022. His younger brother, Oran (8), participates in Crann’s sibling workshops, which offer children a supportive space to connect and share experiences with others in similar situations.
Members of the public are encouraged to register through iDonate and complete a 5K in their own way anytime between June 1st and June 7th. Participants can walk, roll, run, or wheel the distance while raising funds for the campaign.
Adding further momentum to the initiative, Boston Scientific has pledged its support through a new three-year partnership commitment to Walk & Roll.
