Songs Through A Stained Glass Window

2 Min Read

On Wednesday, 18 June, singer-songwriter Ursula Connolly will present Songs Through a Stained Glass Window in the iconic Honan Chapel on the grounds of University College Cork — a venue renowned for its rich artistic heritage and the breathtaking stained-glass masterpieces of Harry Clarke, one of Ireland’s most celebrated artists.

Set against the backdrop of Clarke’s luminous windows, this special one-night-only performance will offer audiences a unique fusion of music, storytelling, and visual art. Inspired by Clarke’s enchanting illustrations for the fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen, Connolly and her ensemble of talented musicians will breathe new life into these timeless tales through haunting melodies and evocative lyrics.
