A man has died following a collision involving a car and a truck in County Cork.
The incident occurred earlier this morning in the N71 near Tooreen, Ballinhassig.
Emergency services attended the scene, but the driver of the car a man thought to be in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crash scene investigators are conducting a full examination of the area, and road closures remain in place while the investigation is ongoing.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and follow local diversions.
