Ten years ago today, former Taoiseach Enda Kenny turned the sod on the site of the proposed Cork Event Centre.
A decade on, it has become what many now call the “Non-Event Centre,” with many across Leeside feeling let down.
Earlier this afternoon, the Social Democrats recreated the photo opportunity from ten years ago, highlighting once again what Cork has been missing — not that anyone here needs a reminder.
