Cork City FC has proudly reaffirmed its commitment to the Crann Centre, making it four consecutive seasons backing the vital charity that supports children, adults and families living with neuro-physical disabilities.
The announcement comes as excitement builds ahead of Friday night’s season opener, with City set to welcome Treaty United to Turner’s Cross for a 7.45pm kick-off. As the Rebel Army prepare to get their campaign underway on the pitch, the club continues to make a powerful impact off it.
The Crann Centre currently supports more than 800 families across Cork and the wider Munster region, having welcomed a further 234 families in 2025 alone — a 37% increase on the previous year. With demand for disability services rising nationwide, the need for awareness and community backing has never been greater.
Since the partnership began, a series of fundraising initiatives — including an FAI Cup ticket raffle, matchday bucket collections and a joint promotion with club partners Citylink — have raised an impressive €30,000 for the charity.
As a new season kicks off under the lights at Turner’s Cross, City’s continued support of the Crann Centre once again shows that the club’s commitment to community runs just as deep as its ambition on the field.
