A prisoner is at large after failing to return to Cork Prison after securing High Court bail to attend a drug treatment centre last week.
Last month the same inmate who is on remand was also given High Court bail but on his return to the prison he was caught with a stash of drugs and placed in the punishment block..
The man described as violent attacked his partner while she was visiting him recently.
Garda� have been informed of his disappearance and an investigation into his whereabouts is ongoing.
