Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a serious road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car on the N25 at Dunsfort, Midleton, Co. Cork.
The incident occurred on Thursday, 14th August 2025, at approximately 11:05pm.
A man in his 20s was taken to Cork University Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The road remains closed for a technical examination, with local diversions currently in place. Investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
They are particularly interested in speaking with road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the Dunsfort area between 10:45pm and 11:15pm on the night of the incident.
