The death has been announced of Jason Faulkner, brother of Scarlett Faulkner, who was laid to rest on Friday.
The sad news was shared on the family’s Facebook page this evening.
The post reads: “It is with a broken heart that we announce that Scarlett’s beloved brother, Jason, has sadly passed away. Banny and Mary have been utterly devastated by these events. It is truly heartbreaking for them.”
The message concludes with a request for prayers for the Faulkner family.
Jason, who was in his 30s, carried his sister’s coffin to her final resting place just two days ago.
Scarlett, 29, died at CUH last week after being violently assaulted last month in County Tipperary.
