He may have thought his number plate was cool but Gardai who were on patrol on the M8 near Rathcormac Co Cork thought otherwise and decided to pull him in for a chat yesterday 24-6-25.
Officers informed the driver the plate did not comply with the law and the windows were excessively tinted.
On further inspection it transpired the car was not tax and insured and also dangerously defective.
The driver then failed a roadside drug test and a quantity of cannabis was also found in the car.
The car was seized and following the drivers arrest he had to walk home..
