Midelton Co Cork will soon have a new award winning restaurant for people to enjoy a serving of culinary delights .

The town is getting ready to welcome the team from the award winning Cush Ballycotton eatery who are all set to relocate to site of former Sage restaurant

Michelin Guide-listed Cush, which has been in operation in the seaside village of Ballycotton in East Cork since 2020, is to relocate to a bigger premises in Midleton next month..

The restaurant will reopen to the public on March 15th at the site of the former Sage restaurant in the middle of the town.

This move marks an expansion of the Flynn Cush Group’s offering, with Cush Ballycotton remaining in the village as a guesthouse and bar, while popular entertainment venue and restaurant, Sea Church, will continue to offer an array of concerts and festivals for visitors to the village.

Commenting on the upcoming opening of Cush Midleton, Head Chef Dan Guerin said: “We’ve been on an incredible journey with Cush for the last 5 years, with so many milestones, including receiving the esteemed Michelin Bib Gourmand and being recognised by industry peers on several occasions. But what’s always mattered most to us is delivering a top quality dining experience to our loyal customers in East Cork and beyond, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to bring Cush to Midleton, where we can expand on our offering in a beautiful premises.”
