An investigation is underway after three people were injured following a crash involving two cars near the Fox and Hounds Pub in Cork last night.
Emergency Services attended the collision just before 11 pm and closed off the road after they became concerned that one of drivers had fled the scene on foot following the crash
Gardai say one person was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Two others were treat at the scene.
Garda� hope to speak to those involved in the crash later today.
CCTV in the area will also be examined in a bid to identify the driver who failed to remain at the scene.
Three units of Cork City Fire Brigade as well as four Ambulances responded to the incident.
