Excitement and brainpower filled the air on Thursday, as local students gathered for the much-anticipated Gurranabraher Credit Union Schools Quiz 2026!
The Parochial Hall Arena at Gurranabraher Credit Union was buzzing with energy as teams from Strawberry Hill NS, The North Monastery Primary School, Scoil Padre Pio and St. Mary’s on the Hill NS went head-to-head in a thrilling test of knowledge and teamwork.
Each school was represented by a determined team of four students, ready to take on a series of challenging rounds covering everything from general knowledge to brain-teasing trivia.
Supporters packed the venue, cheering on their classmates and creating an electric atmosphere that only added to the excitement of the evening.
From nail-biting final questions to triumphant high-fives, the competition showcased not only the impressive knowledge of the young participants but also their confidence, composure and fantastic team spirit.
Teachers and families looked on with pride as the students rose to the challenge and represented their schools with enthusiasm and determination.
