The injury to this young woman�s eye is due to an incident in Cork last night.
The injured party posted the photo on her social media page after a night out in the city centre.
In the post she said � Got a box outside a pub.
Glasses knocked off my face.
Disgusted never going to town again�
The incident comes following continued calls for extra Garda� on our streets.
It�s unfortunate we now live in a society where people no longer feel safe and are constantly at risk of being assaulted.
Please never be afraid to report an incident.
