Cork Chamber of Commerce has elected Suzie Horgan as its new President, marking a new chapter for one of the region’s leading business representative organisations.
Ms Horgan is the Founder and Managing Director of Cork-based communications agency Springboard Communications, which she established in 2012. A longstanding member of the Chamber, she has served on the organisation’s Board for the past six years and previously held the positions of Honorary Secretary and Vice President.
Her appointment was confirmed at the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting, where outgoing President Rob Horgan was recognised for his leadership and contribution to Cork’s business community during his two-year term.
Addressing members and stakeholders following her election, Ms Horgan highlighted Cork’s strong economic growth and emphasised the need for infrastructure, investment and project delivery to keep pace with the region’s expanding ambitions and economic contribution.
Her appointment comes at a time of continued growth and development across Cork, with business leaders increasingly focused on investment, connectivity and regional competitiveness.
