A woman has died after falling while out walking in the Clare Glens Co, Tipperary this evening Wednesday..
It�s understood the woman who was from Germany was part of a group which included her brother when she fell from a steep bank.
Teams of emergency personnel including Newport Community First Responders, Paramedics as well as Newport and Cappamore Fire Service attended to the casualty .
Despite their best efforts the woman who was in her 70s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has since removed from the scene and a post – mortem will be carried out.
