Each made an ever lasting mark not just in Ireland but also across the world and their passing is still felt to this day but none more so when we hear the beautiful music they created.
An Post is now ensuring we will continue to see their images on a daily basis
The company has unveiled four special stamps to honour S�amus Begley, Christy Dignam, Shane MacGowan and Sin�ad O�Connor, all of whom died in 2023.
Entitled �Iconic Irish Voices�, the four-stamp set marks their passing and their contributions to Irish life and music.
The stamp set includes two �N� National rate stamps showing striking portrait photographs of S�amus Begley and Christy Dignam, together with images of Shane MacGowan and Sin�ad O�Connor on two �W� stamps for posting worldwide.
The stamps will be available at your local Post Office from tomorrow.
