Firefighters in Cork respond faster to calls than any other crews in the country according to new findings.
The latest NOAC 2024 report confirms Cork City Fire Brigade is the fastest in the country, reaching fire scenes in under 20 minutes in over 99% of cases last year. 🔥👏
Even more impressively, 84.91% of fire calls received a first response in under 10 minutes – up from 83.29% in 2023. ⏱️

• Other emergencies – 1 min 16 sec - Attendance over 20 minutes:
• Fires – only 0.88%
• Non-fire emergencies – just 1.86%
Last year Cork crew members responded to 3,553 incidents across the area they cover.
A spokesperson said the Cork Brigade remains ready, vigilant, and committed to your safety.
