While on patrol on the Castleisland to Tralee Road earlier this morning officers with the Kerry Roads Policing Unit stopped a car after the Automatic Number Plate Recognition system detected the car was not insured the driver had recently been banned from driving and on further inspection the driver tested positive for cannabis.
The car was seized and the man will appear in court at a later date.
