Gardai are continuing to investigate the circumstances following the deaths of a man and a woman at a house in Co Cork yesterday 30-6-25.
The man and woman in their 80s were discovered dead at the bottom of the stairs in their home in Glounthaune, Co. Cork.
Gardaí have sealed off the house and door-to-door inquiries are underway.
One line of investigation suggests the elderly couple may have fallen down the stairs at the same time.
There’s no sign of forced entry or foul play.
The results of post-mortems will enable officers to determine the next course of action in the investigation.
