A man in his 20s is due in court today in relation to two incidents in Cork Aug 23rd.
Two men on a motorbike armed with a firearm called to a house and smashed a number of windows.
After leaving the scene they knocked down a man on Churchfield Road.
The culprits dumped the bike and ran from the scene leaving the gun behind.
The injured man remains in hospital with multiple serious injures.
On Thursday Gardai raided a house and arrested one of the men.
He was charged late last night and will appear in court at 12 noon.
The second suspect who Gardai have identified is still at large.
