A family in Carrigtwohill Co Cork are still counting the cost of Halloween after fireworks caused extensive damage to solar panels installed the previous day.
The stray firework landed on the roof of their home and exploded damaging the panels that had just been installed at a cost of �9000.
The devastated homeowners who were lucky to escape injury said they are extremely upset and concerned with ongoing anti social behaviour in the area.
Garda� are investigating their incident.
