it’s been announced that Airport has been awarded the Best Airport in Europe (under 5 million passengers) at the ACI EUROPE Best Airport Awards 2025, held in Athens..
This marks the third time Cork Airport has won the prestigious accolade, having previously earned the title in 2017 and 2019.
The award recognizes the airport’s excellence in passenger experience, operational efficiency, sustainability, innovation, and route development.
ACI EUROPE Director General Olivier Jankovec praised the airport’s achievements, citing its growing air connectivity and economic contribution to the region.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin congratulated the airport, calling it a “prestigious honour” and acknowledging the leadership of Managing Director Niall MacCarthy and his team.
Mr MacCarthy credited the win to the dedication of staff and the strong partnerships built across stakeholders.
Cork Airport remains Ireland’s fastest-growing airport and a key economic driver for the south of the country.
