Over 200 people took part in a protest in Ardmore Co Waterford this afternoon calling on the Government to provide public school transport for their children.
Up until recently children living in Ardmore, Clashmore and Piltown used to get to school in Dungarvan by means of a private bus operator.
The operator however has withdrawn his services and many children now have difficulty in getting to school.
Parents said the children are now at a major disadvantage and something needs to be done so that their loved ones don�t miss out on an education.
