Today is a huge day for Cork Camogie as the Rebels take on Galway in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Final, with the coveted O’Duffy Cup within touching distance.
Everyone across Leeside is incredibly proud of what this Cork team has achieved and we here at All About Cork are backing them all the way .
From the hard work and dedication on the training field to the performances that have brought them all the way to Croke Park, the players have given supporters so many reasons to be proud.
The O’Duffy Cup is just 60 minutes away from potentially making its way back to the Rebel County, and there is no doubt that the entire Cork panel, management and backroom team will give everything they have to make that happen.
To every player wearing the red and white today — believe in yourselves, believe in each other, and leave everything out on the pitch. You have earned your place on this stage and have already done Cork proud.
To the management team, backroom staff, families, volunteers and everyone who has supported this group throughout the campaign — this is your day too. The work behind the scenes is a huge part of getting a team to an All-Ireland Final.
And to the Cork supporters heading to Croke Park or cheering from home — get behind the Rebels and make sure the team knows that the whole county is behind them.
Whatever happens, this group has already given us plenty to celebrate. But today, there is a chance to go one step further and bring the O’Duffy Cup back to Cork.
