A teenager remains in custody this morning after he was arrested following a stand off with Gardai at around 7 pm in Cork last night.
The incident happened when uniformed Gardai backed by by Detectives and members of the Armed Support Unit responded to a call that a man was armed with a weapon at a property in the Carrigaline area of Cork
On arrival officers sealed off an area arrested a teenager and seized an imitation firearm.
