A woman assaulted in Cork last Sunday has died.
The victim who was in her 30s was attacked while she was queuing for food at a soup kitchen outside the former Savoy Cinema on St Patrick Street.
Volunteers with a homeless group administered CPR until medics arrived.
The young woman was rushed to CUH where she was on life support up until early today.
No one has been arrested but Garda� have identified a number of persons of interest
