One person has been injured following a fire in Mahon Blackrock Cork.
A fire broke out at a house at Lakelands Crescent and spread to the adjoining house just after 8.15pm this evening Tuesday.
On arrival firefighters found the house was well alight and received reports of people possibly trapped in one of the houses.
One person was injured in the blaze and treated by Paramedics.
The fire has since been brought under control.
4 appliances attended the scene.
Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire but it’s believed to have been accidental.
