A man in his 50s has been arrested after another man was stabbed in Cobh Co Cork at around 6pm this evening Tuesday.
It’s understood the victim was approached while he was outside a store in the town and sustained a stabwound. .
Sources say the man who’s said to be in his 30s suffered a minor injury .
The casualty was transferred to CUH where he’s currently being assessed.
Officers are examining CCTV footage and hoping to speak to the injured party as soon as medics deem him fit enough to make a statement.
