Gardaí are searching for a lone raider who held up a shop in Co Cork this evening.
The man, who is understood to have been armed, carried out the robbery at Shamrock Stores in Passage West before 6 pm today.
He is believed to have escaped with a small sum of money.
Investigating officers are examining CCTV footage in a bid to identify the culprit
The incident follows another armed robbery last Friday when a man wearing a balaclava held up staff at the Lough Credit Union before escaping with a sum of cash.
