When Courtney and the other climbers begin their trek up Carrauntoohill, they will carry bags of small stones.

Each stone is lovingly painted with some even bearing carefully inscribed names.
Every stone commemorates a child lost around the time of birth.

The stones will be left on top of the mountain as a special memorial tribute.
Courtney said his group is extending an offer to bring a stone up to the top of Carrauntoohill for any parent who lost a child and wants to commemorate them in this special way.

Courtney and his team hope to raise around 50.000 Euro for the not for profit group.
