Two men have been arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary in Cork city last April.
Two women and a man were attacked and seriously injured when two men broke into a flat on Millerd Street near the Mercy Hospital at around 6 am on Wednesday April 17th last.
The culprits who were armed with some type of weapon escaped with a quantity of cash
The occupants of the flat spent a number of days in hospital after suffering multiple injuries during the brutal attack.
Last evening Detectives arrested the two suspects and brought them to separate Garda Stations in the city.
It�s understood the men both of whom are in their 30s are well known to investigating Garda�.
