Following the success of its first “Cleaning and Greening” morning on North Main Street, the Cork Business Association (CBA) is turning its attention to Oliver Plunkett Street.
Tomorrow Tuesday, June 24th, CBA members, local businesses, and volunteers will join forces to clean, plant, and paint along the popular city centre stretch — from Vodafone to The Welcome Inn.
Volunteers will gather at The Old Oak Bar at 9am for light bites before work begins.
Supported by McKechnie Cleaning Services and in collaboration with Cork City Council, the initiative forms part of the CBA’s wider campaign to improve Cork’s streets one by one — enhancing civic pride and making the city an even better place to live, work, and visit.
“This is about more than just a tidy-up,” said Dave O’Brien, CBA President. “It’s about taking pride in our shared spaces and building momentum across the city.”
All tools and supplies will be provided. Everyone is welcome to lend a hand!
