Everyone in West Cork and beyond is rowing in behind the forth coming All – Ireland Costal Rowing Championships due to take place in August.
The prestigious event returns to West Cork for the first time in 14 years will deliver a major boost to the local economy and tourism.
Hosted by the Irish Coastal Rowing Federation, the championships will feature a comprehensive programme of racing, with approximately 70 events scheduled across all age categories, from under-12 to over-60, for both men and women.
Bantry is expected to provide a fitting and scenic backdrop for the national event With preparations now firmlyunderway, to the countdown to what promises to be a memorable weekend of sport in West Cork.
