Counties Cork and Dublin reported the highest number of road deaths between January and July of this year.

The figure of 113 deaths comes as the Road Safety Authority continues to urge road users to exercise extreme caution at all times.

A driver travelling at almost 200km per hour in a 120km zone is just one of hundreds of motorists caught speeding on Irish roads lately.
