Gardaí in Cork are investigating two suspected arson attacks in the city.
The first incident occurred at a house at Bride Valley Park in Fairhill, when a suspected petrol bomb was thrown at the property at around 10.15pm last night.
Firefighters responded and quickly brought the blaze under control.
The occupants escaped unharmed.
Emergency services were then alerted to a van on fire at Townsend Place in Greenmount at around 12.30am.
Having viewed CCTV footage, Gardaí identified a man throwing a suspected petrol bomb at the Transit van, which then went up in flames.
Both scenes have been examined by officers from the Scenes of Crime Unit.
No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.
