Two Last-Minute Getaways From Cork Worth Booking

Need to get away at short notice? If you’re looking for some late-season sunshine without the hassle of travelling to Dublin, there are still plenty of holiday options departing directly from Cork Airport.

We’ve picked two destinations worth considering — Lanzarote and Tenerife — with current offers from Sunway and Barter’s Travelnet.

For anyone looking to escape the changing Irish weather, Lanzarote is hard to beat. The Canary Island offers beaches, volcanic scenery, restaurants and plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for everything from a quick break to a full week away.

Sunway

There are some particularly interesting last-minute options currently available through Sunway.

A three-night Lanzarote holiday departing Cork on September 21 is currently €290pp, including return flights and accommodation, based on two people sharing.

If you have more time, Sunway is also showing a seven-night Cork departure from €715pp for the same date.

Barter’s Travelnet

Barter’s Travelnet also has several Lanzarote options departing from Cork.
