A pensioner and his son have appeared in court charged with assault causing harm as well as producing knives.
Appearing before Bantry District Court were 77 year old Jerry Brennan and his 31 year old son William Brennan
The father and son were arrested after two of Mr Brennan�s other sons were allegedly stabbed during an incident in Dunmanway West Cork on Saturday evening last.
The brothers both of whom are in their 30s remain in hospital.
The accused men were remanded in custody after Gardai objected to bail given the serious of the charges and the fear of witness intimidation.
The court was told there is an ongoing family feud relating to a will.
Both men are due back in court again this Thursday.
