It’s not often one can enter the history books but that’s about to happen for a number of people across Cork.

It all happens at the click of a mouse and in years to come people will be talking about you and others who clicked.

The Central Statistics Office (CSO) is today Thursday calling on households in Cork to take part in the “click on Census Pilot Survey” on or before Census Pilot Survey Day, which takes place this Sunday, 22 September.

It’s a voluntary pilot survey that allows us to test new questions and new ways of filling out your census form, the responses and feedback will provide essential information to help us prepare for Census 2027. Paper forms in both Irish and English are also available.

Letters of invitation have been sent to six selected locations around Cork, which are in parts of:

Ballincollig
Bishopstown/Curraheen
Douglas Road
Magazine Road
Turners Cross
Wilton.

The CSO is askingn all householders who received letters of invitation to take part this weekend.

Even if you havent received a letter, you can take part by visiting censuspilot.ie.
