A man has been arrested after the car he was driving was clocked speeding at 178 km/hr in a 100 km zone in Co Kerry.
The driver was stopped by members of the Kerry Roads Policing Unit who then discovered the man did not hold a driving licence and the car was not insured.
The car owner also tested positive for cannabis and a small quantity of the drug was also found in the car.
The driver is due in court at a later date .
