Gardai in Cork have dealt a massive blow to two criminal gangs following the seizure of drugs worth half a million Euro in separate operations.
Cannabis and cocaine worth 260k was seized during a raid at a house in Carrigtwohill.
A woman in her 40s as well as a man in his 50s and a teenager were arrested.
The second operation resulted in officers seizing cannabis worth almost 250k when they searched a house in Mahon. A man in his 20s was taken in to custody.
Gardai say the intelligence led operations carried out last evening by members of the Cork City and Cork County Divisional Drugs Units have had a serious impact on the gangs behind the illegal dealing.
