Still floating on high from the recent Munster Final success, Cork hurling fans are excitedly gearing up for another thrilling All-Ireland campaign
With this in mind The Imperial Hotel is setting the scene for supporters with an evening of sporting legends in the heart of the city.
On Thursday 3rd July, the hotel’s stylish Fitzgerald’s Bar will host “All Star Hurling Legends”, a free event bringing together some of fan favourites for an evening of stories, banter and semi- final predictions.
Hosted by the ever-charismatic Tómas Mulcahy, the panel is set to feature legendary names including Liam Sheedy, Jimmy Barry Murphy, Eddy Brennan and Seán Óg Ó hAilpín offering fans a rare chance to hear insights and perspectives from hurling stalwarts in an intimate setting.
The event kicks off with a 7.30pm arrival, followed by panel discussion from 8pm. Entry is free and places can be reserved via eventbrite. There’ll be a raffle on the night with brilliant prizes including two All-Ireland semi-final tickets, a signed jersey, and a hotel voucher, while guests can enjoy complimentary finger food and a free pint, thanks in association with Murphy’s.
Located just steps from where fans traditionally gather to welcome Cork GAA teams home, The Imperial’s South Mall setting puts it right at the heart of the city’s sporting spirit — the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere as excitement builds. Plus as old as the GAA is- established in 1844, the Imperial Hotel is around even longer- dating back to 1813.
