Fancy learning to make Ballymaloe Breads? There’s an afternoon course coming up at Ballymaloe Cookery School designed to help you learn to tackle a selection of delicious bread recipes.

In this class on December 1st, Darina will take some of her favourite breads and show you how to make them. This course will include tips and tricks on how to get the best out of any oven, how to make sure you always get a nice crust and how to ensure you have a delicious loaf of homemade bread when you get up in the morning.
When Darina released the New Ballymaloe Bread Book in 2023, the original was already a classic, and she has added many new recipes to the book. There’s a variety of essential techniques you’ll use again and again and tips for forward planning and saving time.
The course includes a comprehensive demonstration session, showing how dishes are prepared from scratch, with an overhead mirror and two monitors showing close-up handiwork.

Darina will share a wealth of knowledge and expert tips and techniques during this lovely course. You can ask questions and have the opportunity to taste the dishes prepared at the end of the session, and you get a pack of the recipes to bring home so you can put all that knowledge into practice.
