Cork Airport welcomes its three millionth passenger of 2025
Cork Airport celebrated a major milestone yesterday as it welcomed its three millionth passenger of the year — an achievement reached nearly two months earlier than in 2024. The lucky traveller, Hannah Davison, arrived from London Gatwick on Ryanair flight FR7722 alongside her children, Joshua and Emily.
Met by airport management on arrival, Hannah was presented with a luxury hamper and champagne to mark the occasion.
With 14% growth in passenger traffic so far this year, 2025 is already shaping up to be the busiest year in the airport’s 64-year history, positioning Cork Airport once again as Ireland’s fastest-growing airport.
Deputy Managing Director Roy O’Driscoll congratulated Hannah and praised the airport team for their commitment to ensuring a positive passenger experience, adding that the milestone reflects the airport’s key role in regional connectivity and its ongoing €200 million capital development plan.
