There’s positive news for the jobs market today, with An Post announcing the creation of 300 new positions nationwide.
The roles come in response to strong demand and continued growth in the company’s parcel delivery service across the country.
Chief Executive David McRedmond said An Post’s “Greenlight” strategy has delivered strong results in 2025, with further expansion projected for 2026. He noted that the rapid rise of online commerce is having a transformative effect on global trade, adding that parcel network capacity is now vital national infrastructure — enabling individuals and businesses to operate and thrive regardless of location”.
