When it comes to stepping up to the mark, workers at J&J never fail to disappoint.
This year, staff members are once again taking on a challenge — and they’re already on the road.
Employees have taken their first steps in the 2026 ‘Miles for Myeloma’ challenge, launched in partnership with Myeloma Ireland at J&J’s biopharmaceutical site in Ringaskiddy, Cork.
J&J employees from Ringaskiddy and the company’s commercial organisation in Dublin are walking, running, cycling and swimming to clock up the miles while raising awareness of multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer.
The challenge forms part of J&J’s wider partnership with Myeloma Ireland, which aims to raise awareness of multiple myeloma and support people living with the disease nationwide.
Earlier this year, J&J was the lead sponsor of Myeloma Ireland’s gold-medal-winning ‘Rooted in Resilience’ garden at Bloom 2026.
The garden was inspired by the journeys of more than 2,000 people living with multiple myeloma in Ireland.
Myeloma Ireland is the charity dedicated to supporting people affected by multiple myeloma and related conditions through education, advocacy and practical support.
Its longstanding partnership with J&J reflects a shared commitment to supporting people affected by myeloma.
