Home and business owners in low lying areas of Cork City Centre are being urged to prepare for flooding.
Flooding is expected from tomorrow Wednesday and lasting possibly up to Sunday evening.
Cork City Council is warning ?? there will be a series of astronomical high tides over the the 5 days and the advice is to erect flood barriers where possible.
The situation will continue to be monitored and further advice will be issued, if the situation changes.
