Cork’s signature food celebration is back—and it’s bigger, bolder, and more delicious than ever.
The first wave of mouth-watering events has just been announced for Cork on a Fork Fest 2025, running from Wednesday 13th to Sunday 17th August, and it’s shaping up to be a sizzling celebration of everything that makes Cork a top food destination.
Now in its fourth year, Cork on a Fork Fest has quickly become one of Ireland’s most beloved food festivals—offering over 100 events across five flavour-packed days. Expect street feasts, pop-up dining, chef collabs, family fun, foraging walks, cultural showcases, and some of the finest food experiences in the country—all set against the vibrant backdrop of Cork City.
What’s on the Menu?
- The VQ Shared Table – Cork’s most epic outdoor feast returns to MacCurtain Street with 20 top chefs, 450 guests, and an atmosphere like no other. Sponsored by Birra Moretti, this long-table spectacle is always a sell-out, so mark your calendars—tickets go on sale Friday, May 9th.
- Producers Bus Tour – Hop aboard for an exclusive behind-the-scenes journey to meet Cork’s food heroes, with stops at the English Market, Frank Hederman’s Tasting Room, Killahora Orchards, and more.
- Young Chef Collaboration Dinner at Farmgate – Experience the future of Cork cuisine as emerging chefs shine with dishes inspired by the iconic English Market.
- Plates & Pairings at Jacques – A local tasting tour of food and drink perfection, all under one roof.
- Artisan Market at St. Peter’s – Curated by On the Pig’s Back, this artisan wonderland features cheese, charcuterie, biscuits, and live food demos all day.
- Afternoon Tea on the Train – Climb aboard for a one-of-a-kind afternoon tea made from surplus ingredients by FoodCloud chefs.
- Breaking Bread: A Cultural Connection – Sample global flavours with food and live entertainment from Cork’s migrant communities.
- Murder Mystery Night at The Imperial – Dinner, drama, and decadence come together in this thrilling evening of interactive theatre and gourmet fare.
- Family-friendly favourites – From food trails and teddy bear picnics at Marina Market to hands-on workshops and the ‘Play with Your Food’ experience at St. Peter’s, there’s something for all ages.
- Wellness meets flavour – Relax and recharge at Balance, Beats & Bites, featuring yoga and nourishing bites at the Old Savings Bank.
- Sailing, Shucking & Shanties – Take to the water for oysters, sea shanties, and stories from Cork Harbour.
- Chef Demos Galore – Catch culinary stars like Clodagh McKenna, Takashi Miyazaki, Aishling Moore, and many more at Emmet Place and around the city.
